DIRTY ROOTS RADIO CELEBRATES BLACK HISTORY MONTH

The Dirty Roots Radio Show specializes in sharing vintage and modern roots music of both the rural and urban variety.

February is Black History Month and we want to observe this special – and necessary – occasion.

Each day during the month of February we’ll share a song and video clip from a significant black artist that has helped shape the landscape of music, popular culture, and even America. Some of these artists will be of the vintage persuasion, while others are more contemporary.

If you have any suggestions for artists and/or songs for us to feature, please send them along!

Write your suggestions on our Facebook wall (click here) or email us at dirtyroots@rocketmail.com.

And don’t forget, you can follow us on Twitter and join our new email list. Just send an email to dirtyroots@rocketmail.com to sign up.

AND LISTEN TO DIRTY ROOTS RADIO THIS AND EVERY THURSDAY NIGHT FROM 8 TO 10 P.M. CENTRAL ON WGRN 89.5 FM IN GREENVILLE…OR FROM ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD AT WWW.WGRN.NET!!!
