LISTEN TO THE MAY 21, 2015 DIRTY ROOTS RADIO SHOW

You know, it's honestly such an awesome thing to be able to do this show. It's a labor of love and the fact that people actually listen to it and support it and apparently dig it, is just an unbelievable blessing. Plus, it's great therapy and a lot cheaper than the "real" deal.

Thanks to all of you who stop by here.

I usually come in with some kind of "feel" or "vibe". Either I'm super tired and that puts me way out into orbit, or I'm super amped and that's a whole different thing. Or I have some specific thing on my mind, or there's someone to pay tribute to (B.B. King tonight) and that sets a tone.

But tonight, I was just "normal". Normal for me anyway. Whatever that means. Wasn't tired, wasn't amped. No agenda, no vibe.

Just the sharing of good music. Oh, and the technological issues at the beginning, which caused me a bit of a hang-up, but we broke through. One cold vibe won't stop this here boogie.

LISTEN TO THE MAY 14, 2015 DIRTY ROOTS RADIO SHOW

What a sublime effort this was, if I do say so myself.

My wife and I saw Bob Dylan in concert for the first time this past Monday and I'm still riding the high. What an incredible experience. It informed a lot of tonight's show.

Otherwise, the muse was working just right on this one. We got in, got to it, and got out. Not a dud in the bunch. Just a lotta solid music. We definitely had a groove/vibe going.

Put it on, sit back, and let it take you away...
